This Artwork Release is between a producer and a legal owner of artwork for the depiction of that artwork in a motion picture. This agreement sets out the specifics of the arrangement including a description of the work of art and owner’s waiver of rights to inspect or approve the motion picture and advertising in which the artwork is featured. It is important that this agreement be in writing rather than an oral arrangement. A written Artwork Release will be valuable in the event of misunderstandings or questions between the parties.

This Artwork Release includes the following provisions:

• Parties: The identities of the parties involved including the producer and the legal owner of the artwork;
• Description: Description of the artwork which will depicted in the motion picture;
• Motion Picture: The title of the motion picture;

• Hold Harmless: Owner of artwork releases and holds producer harmless from any liability for alteration or distortion of artwork in the motion picture;
• Signatures: The owner of the artwork must sign this release in the presence of two witnesses.
