This Audience Release is between a producer and an individual who is willing to participate in a program. This release contains details regarding the type of program (such as a game show, quiz show or music video) and the participation expected of the audience. It also sets out that participant's image may be broadcast for viewing by the general public but audience member has no rights to the recordings or images. It is important that this release be set out in writing and signed by the participant prior to taping of the program. A written Audience Release will prove useful in the event there are misunderstandings regarding participant's rights to the program.
