Registration of business name requirements: Registration
is mandatory. The applicant must register with
the Secretary of State. (Sections 349:1, 349:5).
Business Name Registration fee: $50.00
Term of registration: Five years. (Section 349:6).
Name requirements: The name cannot be deceptively
similar to any instrumentality of the United States or
New Hampshire government, or any recognized political
party. (Section 349:1).
Registration application requirements: The signed
certificate must state the principal place of the business,
a brief description of the business, the name of
the owner(s), the address of the owner(s), the date
when the business was established, and the date when
the business will end if anticipated. (Section 349:5).
